Lattice receptacle

磁器の格子構造体を基本形とする作品『Lattice receptacle(ラティスレセプタクル)』。

"Lattice receptacle" is a work fundamentally based on a lattice-like porcelain structure. Its form is composed through the accumulation of identical hollow cubic units (each side measuring 5 cm), produced by slip casting. This structural system not only evenly distributes deformation occurring during the ceramic firing process but also generates a "volume of space" expanding within the work.
