私は本作において高温度の熱処理で際立つ「変化するもの」「変化しないもの」、「残るもの」「残らないもの」といった陶磁器材料の物質的特徴を、ドローイング画面を構成する要素として扱うことで、それらの持つ色彩や変容を簡潔に表面化させたいと考えました。こうした平面性への意識は、やきものを成立させている基本構造を従来の技術体系とは異なった視点から探るものといえます。

In this series, by treating the material characteristics of ceramics—those that change or remain unchanged under high heat, those that endure and those that disappear—as compositional elements of the drawing surface, I sought to give concise visual form to their inherent colors and transformations. This orientation toward pictorial flatness reflects an attempt to reconsider the fundamental structure of ceramics from a perspective distinct from conventional technical frameworks.
